#Alonebutnotalone

For survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse, PAVE created a global campaign dubbed #AloneButNotAlone during COVID-19 to offer them hope and support. You are not alone, is the message sent to victims of sexual assault, domestic abuse, and other forms of abuse around the world. Social media is being used in this initiative to link people worldwide from various communities.

During COVID-19, survivors felt isolated and alone. This initiative demonstrated the potential of social media by allowing it to be used for good rather than being primarily utilized for harm. We urge you to participate in social media campaigns and publicly demonstrate your support for survivors because doing so helps spread a positive message to your followers, especially since a victim might see it.

You have the power and choice to step up even at home.
