RAINN Donations

RAINN's aim is to improve the lives of those who have survived sexual assault, and funding is what makes this objective possible. According to RAINN's website, donations allow an average of 884 survivors to receive help and educates 130 million each year through the media and periodic events.


Here are some accomplishments made by RAINN! RAINN's victim services programs helped 308,000 persons in this fiscal year, a 5.4% increase in clients from FY 2019. RAINN marketed the National Sexual Assault Hotline on radio and television across the nation through partnerships and well-received PSAs. Under RAINN's direction, the Debbie Smith Act was successfully reauthorized. The extension authorizes Congress to allocate a budget of $151 million per year for DNA and rape kit testing at state and local police labs. RAINN managed sexual assault and therapeutic fund hotlines for more than 30 federal agencies, colleges, boarding houses, institutions, and youth-serving organizations.
